Your customer password enables you to set up the mobile services you are using fast and easy anytime, anywhere.

What can I use it for ?

Dial *88 and present your 6-digit customer password to:
  • activate and deactivate the services you are using
  • change your rate plan
  • have access to additional information.
Please note

  • You can create your customer password if you are a postpaid customer and the title holder of your contract. The password is valid for all M-Tel numbers under your contract(s).
  • If you provide anyone with your password, he or she can use it to activate and deactivate services for all the SIM cards on your contract(s).
  • Providing the password to third parties is up to you only. If you don’t share it, you will be the only one who can activate and deactivate services.
  • You can use the customer password by calling *88 from any number. You just need to present the relevant number, password and the change you wish to be made.
  • Any M-Tel services can be activated and deactivated using the customer password, except for signinga new contract, termination of an existing one, change of SIM card and deposit withdrawal.

How do I create my customer password?

  • Fill in an application form with your main mobile number. You can get the application form from any M-Tel shop, by fax, by calling *88, or at www.mtel.bg.
  • Present the filled in application form at an M-Tel shop or fax it to 0888/500885 or 02/4858401. Relevant identification must be attached for physical persons and legal entities.
  • The application will be processed within the next 2 hours.
  • Dial *88 from the mobile number specified on the application form and follow the instructions of the automatic voice menu to enter a 6-digit password of your choice.


How do I change my customer password?

Dial *88 from the mobile number on the application form and follow the instructions of the automatic voice menu to enter your current 6-digit password and then the one you wish to replace it with.



Please note:
  • You can change your customer password whenever you want unlimited number of times and free of charge.
  • If you forgot your password and want it cancelled contact an operator at our Customer Service Center at *88. Please call from the number mentioned on the application form.
Calls to Customer care center *88 are charged according to current M-Tel prices.
